FAA Certification
- Comply with the same federal regulations as major commercial airlines.
- Undergo both scheduled and unscheduled FAA inspections.
- Fulfill required maintenance inspections of all aircraft every 100 flight hours and perform optional inspections at 50 hours.
- Ensure our pilots undergo FAA overseen check rides including oral examination and actual flight maneuvers every 6 months.
Strict Pilot Screening
- Hire pilots with thousands of hours of flight time and require an additional 27 hours of charter-specific training.
- Enforce random drug screening.
- Interview for service-oriented mindset.
Employ Aircraft with Modern Safety Features
- The latest state-of-the-art digital avionics with GPS navigation, collision and terrain avoidance.
- Autopilots that can fly the aircraft to within 100 feet of the ground.
- Satellite weather systems providing real-time, "big picture" imagery to help our pilots avoid turbulent weather, ensuring smooth and uneventful flights.
- Deicing systems that are FAA certified.
- For the Cirrus aircraft: Airbags, the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (a parachute for the entire plane) and the Enhanced Vision System (Forward Looking Infrared technology).
Ability to Fly in All Conditions
- Employing night and inclement weather flying capabilities that equip our aircraft to fly regardless of time of day or reduced visibility.
Expertise in Aircraft Maintenance and Charter Operations
- In our 5th year of operations, we have a deep understanding of what it takes to operate most safely.
- Perform all maintenance in-house, ensuring complete control over aircraft at all times.
- Implement pre-flight and post-flight checks by certified mechanic on almost every single trip.
- Maximize charter reliability by minimizing downtime for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
- Maintain an excellent relationship with the FAA and our local Flight Standard District Office.
